A comfy, mid-rise boxer brief made from super soft recycled nylon. Our machine-washable boxer brief period underwear is engineered for regular or light flow days, ideal as a standalone solution or reliable backup for heavy flow days. 

(psst.. we've made some really cool updates to the boxer brief like: an extended gusset, a pad shaped gusset to allow more absorbency and comfort, and a reinforced waistband)

Product Details + Fit

This style was made to stretch. Recycled nylon and a forgiving waistband make these perfect for people that experience bloating or heavy cramping–or that just want a lil' extra comfort on their period. They fit true to size, so we recommend ordering your usual size (if you're in between sizes, size up!)

Fabric + Care

  • Shell: 88% Recycled Nylon, 12% Spandex
  • Lining: 100% Cotton
  • Gusset: 75% Bamboo, 25% Polyester

monthly period underwear are machine washable. Wash on cold with like colors. Hang to dry. It's that simple!

Design

We talked to 250+ people with periods before designing our underwear. These folks had heavy flows, light flows, endo, PCOS, gender dysphoria, cramping, and everything in between. Based on these conversations and surveys, here's what we did:

  • Made an ultra stretchy waistband so you don't feel restricted while bloating
  • Full length boxer to allow for gender inclusion
  • Floating gusset so you can wrap a pad inside the underwear in case of emergency or preference
  • Ultra thin pad, so they feel just like your favorite pair of underwear

    Pleasently surprised. Stays completly dry and almost has cooling feeling die to the briefs fabric. Very comfy and smooth under clothes.

    So cozy

    They're super soft and breathable, they need a bit to get used to the gusset. Once you do though you start to want to wear them all the time! I will say you should probably double up with a pad or tampon (or use two pairs in one day) if you have heavier flow because I had a few close calls here and there, but for normal flow they are perfect!

    These are SO comfortable! I will say, my periods tend to be very light, so I am fortunate to not have to worry about not enough absorption. These are absolutely perfect for me.

    I love these!

    These are perfect. So, so comfy and cool. I love that the gusset is floating so I can still use pads if I needed to. I've already worn them outside of my period, they're that good. I've been using various brands of period underwear for years, and I think these are my new favorite.

    Recommending these to everyone I know!

    These are super comfortable, cool, and best: you don't bleed through to your clothes! I wear these on heavy flow days as back up in case I can't change my tampon fast enough and on days when I've got a light flow at home. These have given me a peace of mind that I didn't know I could ever have.

    I wear a 4 at Torrid, 26/28 in most places and carry most of my weight in my stomach. These boxers still fit and stay up. I ordered the 4XL size.
